ENS - the network

ENS was founded in 1975 and is the federation of 26 nuclear societies from 25 countries — stretching from the Atlantic to the Urals and on across Russia to the Pacific. ENS connects these national nuclear member societies with the principle aim of fostering and coordinating their activities on an international level. In relation to this, the society encourages the exchange of scientists and engineers between different countries and sponsors meetings devoted to scientific and technical matters and to the communication on nuclear applications. At the same time, ENS serves as the Brussels-based contact point with relevant European institutions and international governmental and non-governmental organisations and with other organisations having similar aims.
