Activities of the national YG network for the time period given:

1. Student information evening in Tampere University of Technology
   During the time period given the FNS YG organized one student information evening in Tampere University of Technology in 22nd March 2007. The last time FNS YG visited Tampere was in 2002. The evening was very popular among the students. There were almost 40 participants listening to presentations from different organizations. The evening was so successful that FNS YG decided to organise the event annually.

2. YG excursion to Ukraine
   YG excursion to Ukraine was organised in between 11th and 15th of April 2007. The excursion program included:

• an afternoon conference and panel discussion organised by the Nuclear Research Institute,

• visit to the Chernobyl site and the city of Pripyat,

• visit to the Chernobyl museum and

• informal cultural program.

Altogether 27 participants had the pleasure to enjoy the interesting program. The excursion was organised in co-operation with the Ukrainian Nuclear Society. FNS YG wants to thank the Ukrainian Nuclear Society for its contribution to the arrangements.
