General information about the national YG network

The Young Generation of the Slovak Nuclear Society was established in 1997, inspired by partner organisations in Europe. Members of YGN SNUS, one of the sections of the Slovak Nuclear Society, include young people working in nuclear engineering, physics, and ionising radiation in the age of up to 35, as well as university students. Despite of its short existence, the YGN has been actively involved in activities of the Slovak Nuclear Society. Every year they are involved in organisation of NUSIM conferences, which are nuclear information meeting of the Slovak, Czech, and German NS’s. YGN is also one of the organisers of annual general assemblies of the SNUS, where young members have a chance to present their knowledge and achievement in the nuclear-related areas.

Slovak YGN was one of the organisers of the 1st IYNC, which was held in Bratislava, Slovakia, which was considered one of the utmost achievements of the young nuclear experts all over the world so far.
