This period is likely to be considered as the most productive and visible of the Spanish Nuclear Young Generation history.

Letters to journalists:
The JJNN write letters and emails to journalists and people in charge of web sites when a technical mistake has been detected by a JJNN member
In this period, the JJNN have written 6 letters to journalists.

First encounter with young political organizations:
The JJNN met the Spanish Socialist Youths for discussion.
It was celebrated in Salamanca, in conjunction to the activities of TopFuel 2006 international conference.

JJNN participation in Spanish Nuclear Society Annual Meeting
The JJNN participated in the 32nd annual meeting of the SNE presenting 3 papers and posters. One paper dealt with the activities of JJNN during last year, the second one dealt with the JJNN videos. This presentation was awarded as the "Best Communication Presentation". The third one dealt with the nuclear accidents produced by of Homer Simpson and it brought together more than 100 people.

The JJNN also organized a workshop on “Knowledge transfer and generational gap within Nuclear Industry”.

In addition, JJNN organized the yearly conference for High School teachers.
The JJNN have continued developing their own web site, which is kept daily updated. The JJNN post on it the letters that the JJNN write, photos, future activities information, surveys, job offers, national and international congresses and conferences information, past activities reports, etc.
It also incorporates the JJNN bylaws, the organizational chart, meeting minutes and photos.
It is also being used as a blog that encompasses open discussions related to nuclear energy.
It is organized in three subcalendars: national activities, birthdays and international activities.

A JJNN member gave one of the 6 national conferences that the Spanish Nuclear Society organizes every year. The subject was “The Simpson’s Nuclear World”.
For this purposed, the JJNN member developed a 40 minutes documentary about the influence of this serial on society.
Over 100 people assisted to the event.

For first time, the Spanish Nuclear Society approved to purchase all the necessary hardware for the JJNN divulgation purposes. Hence, a laptop, a digital camera, a sound recorder, a projector and others had been bought for JJNN use.
The JJNN have continued with a strong educative projection.
Conferences deal with nuclear energy, nuclear science and technology and nuclear myths.
These activities have made possible to JJNN to appear in every Spanish Nuclear Society monthly magazine.
JJNN is always enlarging the list of contacts with Universities and Residences in order to organize conferences about nuclear energy and job opportunities in the nuclear field.
JJNN is continually working to enlarge a library of nuclear information and presentation to be used in conferences and other activities.
For this purpose, JJNN has implemented a database (hard disk) intended to contain all the information related to itself, press releases, power points, videos, photos, etc.
All the JJNN members are kept informed of every national and international event both by email and through the JJNN web site.
Besides, the JJNN board of directors is daily in contact through emails.
More than 65 members, most of them young professionals (some of them students), most of them with a degree on Physics (some engineers, journalists), most of them in Madrid.
We have had 20 incorporations during the last 6 months.
