For those who wish to stay close to the conference venue
in the 7th district ('arrondissement'), the hotels listed below
are recommended. Depending on the hotel, it is a pleasant 5 to 20-minute
walk to the Maison
de la Chimie or 1-2 metro stops.
The neighbourhood around the conference venue is quiet and well connected
by public transport to other parts of the city. Several major tourist
attractions are nearby: the Orsay Museum, the Rodin Museum, the Louvre
Museum, Place de la Concorde, Napoleon's grave at the Hôtel
des Invalides, and the Eiffel Tower.
The hotels in the 7th district are small so it is advisable to book
early, using the reservation code "PIME 2005". Some of the

La Maison de la Chimie is located at 28, rue St Dominique, around
the corner from the Assemblée Nationale (the French Parliament),
the closest metro stops being Invalides (line 8) and Assemblée
