Communication at PIME

To bring together communications experts at an international level.

Objectives:

To bring together communications experts at an international level.

To give PIME participants a chance to gain knowledge from outside the industry and to give them the advantage of a fresh point of view.

To make PIME a real learning experience. In a conscious move away from the 'show and tell' style of previous conferences, it is hoped that greater use of round-tables or workshops will lead to a more fruitful exchange of views and experiences.

PIME 2003

The conference will be a combination of presentations in plenary given by experts from other sectors, sharing experiences valuable to our profession, as well as a series of round-tables and workshops. Plenary Themes: Risk Perception, Crisis Communications, European Union Perspective, Opinion Polls, Public Consultation and Experience of Other Industries.

Information material exchange

PIME 2003 will provide space to display printed material and facilities to show videos, CD-ROMs and DVDs. Internet access will also be available.

All material should be in English or accompanied by an English summary (see below).
