Dispersion calculations
scroll
Calculation method to determine the effects caused
by the release of radioactivity with the exhaust air from nuclear power
plants. These calculations take account of the meteorological conditions
in the site region. The dispersion calculations are used to calculate
the radiation exposure of human beings from the emission of radioactive
substances with the exhaust air. (See 'Exhaust
air path')
