Nuclear power plants in Germany, residual electricity generation

According to the Atomic Energy Act each nuclear power plant is allowed to generate a fixed quantity of electricity and these quantities may be transferred under special conditions from one nuclear power plant to another. As soon as a nuclear power plant has reached its volume of electricity, it must be withdrawn from the grid.
