Nuclear Safety Officer and Reporting Ordinance

The Ordinance on the Nuclear Safety Officer and on the Reporting of Accidents and Other Events (Atomrechtliche Sicherheitsbeauftragten- and Meldeverordnung - AtSMV) dated 14^th October 1992, last amended by article 5 of the ordinance dated 18^th June 2002, governs the appointment and scope of tasks of the nuclear safety officer in facilities for the fission of nuclear fuels exceeding a thermal maximum output of 50 kW and comprises the regulations on reporting safety-relevant events to the supervisory authorities.
