A party responsible for radiation protection involves anyone who carries out activities which in accordance with the Atomic Energy Act, the Radiological Protection Ordinance or the X-ray Ordinance require a permit or require notification or who searches, mines or conditions radioactive minerals. The duties imposed on a party responsible for radiation protection start immediately with the assumption of the activity.
