Renewable Energies Act

The aim of this law is to allow the sustainable development of the energy supply in the interest of climate and environmental protection and to achieve a clear increase in the contribution of renewables to the electricity supply so that their share in the overall energy consumption can be at least doubled by the year 2010 in line with the targets of the European Union and the Federal Republic of Germany.
