Social programme
Networking is a major benefit of the RRFM
experience; this is all the more so because the research reactor
field is relatively small and highly specialised. The programme
is geared to this right from the start, with registration
day including with registration day including a city walking
tour and the customary RRFM conference dinner.
Guided City Walking Tour
A guided City Walking Tour for the best sights of Budapest's
historical city centre will be organised for Sunday, 10 April
2005. A perfect way to start your visit to Budapest!
The tour will start at 14.00 hours to end
at 17.00 hours. Please assemble at the well-known Heroes Square
(Hosök tere), next to the City Park, which can be easily
reached by the orange metro line (Hosök tere metro stop).
The tour includes the following:

Heroes Square and City Park

Andrassy Boulevard, opera house, St. Stephen's Basilica

Pest's inner city: pedestrian area

Castle District
The Tour is included in the registration
fee. Accompanying Persons participate free-of-charge. Please
note that you must reserve your place in advance. The reservation
deadline is 18 March.
Conference Dinner
The Conference Dinner will take place on
Sunday, 10 April 2005 at the Budávari Fortuna Restaurant,
located in the historic Castle District on the Buda side of
the city. The restaurant serves traditional Hungarian cuisine.

The following preliminary time schedule is to be confirmed:
Bus will be provided from and to the Hilton WestEnd Hotel.
Accompanying Persons are welcome to attend the Conference
Dinner at an additional cost of 60 Euro per person.

you may have.
