RRFM 2006 - The Programme
10th International Topical Meeting on Research Reactor Fuel Management
(RRFM)
THE RRFM2006 Conference PROGRAMME
Please note that the RRFM programme has been prolonged
for half a day by adding a half-day session on Wednesday morning 3
May. The RRFM conference will now end after lunch on 3 May. The post-conference
technical visits will take place on Wednesday afternoon 3 May and
on Thursday 4 May all day.
Also, a specialised, parallel session has been added
to the programme: “Innovative methods in research reactor analysis”.
The customary conference dinner on Sunday 30 April
will be replaced by a cocktail (“walking dinner”). Indeed
such a formula will allow participants to move around and will increase
the networking opportunities, which is especially important on the
first occasion to meet fellow-delegates.
Programme format
The RRFM programme focuses on key areas of development
and current concerns, such as operational aspects and improvements
of the physical safety of research reactor fuel.
The programme consists of invited papers in key areas
as well as oral and poster contributions from research reactor professionals.
The programme is divided into five sessions:
Please note that sessions 4 and 5 will run in parallel.
The formal, plenary conference programme will be
complimented by visits to three local nuclear facilities on 3 and
4 May 2006.
