Call for Papers
TopSafe 2017 provides a forum for
addressing the current status and future perspectives
with regards to safety at Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs),
Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), Research Reactors (RRs)
and other nuclear installations.
The TopSafe 2017 Programme Committee is calling for
both oral and poster presentations associated with the

Attendance
TopSafe 2017 is directed at a broad
range of experts in the area of nuclear safety, including
professionals from the different disciplines involved
in the safety of nuclear installations. It is aimed
at professionals coming from research organisations,
universities, vendors, operators, regulatory bodies
as well as policy makers. Top level representatives
of countries that are constructing new nuclear power
plants are invited. Regulators of all individual countries
with nuclear programmes are expected to contribute the
conference.
Authors should submit their
abstract text in English (a minimum of 400 words) through
the Abstract Submission System on www.topsafe2017.org
by:

Notification of abstract acceptance:
31 October 2016
Draft full paper submission
for review (minimum 1000 words):
15 December 2016
Final paper submission: 20 January
2017
Deadline for submission of PowerPoint
presentations:
3 February 2017

Your draft full paper
must be uploaded by 15 September 2016
and the final
paper must be uploaded by 20 January 2017
at the very latest.
Your Powerpoint
presentation must be in our possession by 3
February 2017 at the very latest.

Publication Policy
The proceedings of TopSafe
2017 will be published on the TopSafe
2017 conference website, linked to the ENS
website, with the reference number ISBN 978-92-95064-28-7.
EPJ-N publication of the conference
A selection of the papers will be submitted
to a peer review and published in the European Journal
of Physics – Nuclear. The papers will be hosted
for an unlimited time and each paper will receive a
DOI for unique identification. The copyright is retained
by the author(s).
EPJ-N is an on-line academic journal with peer review
from a strong reputation editorial committee. It’s
a new branch of the European Physical Journal dedicated
to nuclear science and technology. More at www.epj-n.org
About 6 weeks after the TopSafe 2017
conference delegates will get access to a password protected
website to download the conference presentations.
