CIEMAT (Center for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research)
The CIEMAT (Center for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research) is a Public Research Organization attached to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities through the General Secretariat for the Coordination of Scientific Policy focused mainly on the fields of energy and the environment and the technological fields related to both. This includes research in fission, fusion, waste management, radiation protection and medical physics.
Nuclear Fission Research and Development Technology Platform CEIDEN
The overall objective of the Platform is to coordinate and develop CEIDEN R&D aimed at the safe, reliable operation of existing nuclear plants and the development of technological knowledge in new designs. Nearly 100 public and private entities participate in CEIDEN, which represents the majority of the industry in Spain

The Components Technology Center of Cantabria
The Technological Centre CTC was founded in the year 2000 as a private non-profit-making foundation. It has been recognised as a “Technological Centre”by the Ministry for the Economy and Competitiveness since 2008 under entry nº 79.
The mission of the Technological Centre CTC is to enhance companies by means of the application of Science and Technology, designing practical advanced solutions for industry. The CTC intends to establish a close relationship with companies so as to develop innovative processes of technological transfer to increase the competitiveness of the industrial fabric and facilitate the companies’ access to international markets. Research is conducted for the energy industry, including nuclear.
Tecnalia
Tecnalia is a privately funded, not-for-profit technological centre which carries out applied research and technological development. They generate and develop business opportunities for different agents of the value chain within the Energy and Environment Sector. The centre devote their R&D to the development of technologies, products and tools that provide due response to their needs.
