Nuclear Power Plant Grohnde/Weser (Germany), pressurized water reactor with an electric gross output of 1,430 MW, nuclear commissioning on 1st September 1984.

Following Germany’s decision in 2011 to implement an accelerated phase-out of nuclear energy, Grohnde ceased commercial operation on 31 December 2021. After a post-operation period of at least 5 years, the power plant will gradually be dismantled.
