Baltic Nuclear Energy Forum 2026

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Baltic Nuclear Energy Forum (BNEF) is an international platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience dedicated to the development of nuclear energy in the Baltic Sea region and Central Europe. The Forum brings together representatives of public administration, industry, international institutions, and academia, creating a space for dialogue on the future of low-carbon energy.

The 2026 edition of BNEF will be held under the theme “Energy for a Resilient Society.” The discussions will focus on energy security, infrastructure resilience, and the role of nuclear energy in building stable economies and communities.

We invite leaders of global nuclear organizations, representatives of the European Commission and the IAEA, government plenipotentiaries for nuclear energy from European countries, as well as experts and companies involved in the development of the sector in Poland and across the region to take part in the discussions.

During this year’s edition, the Forum will address, among others:

  • strategies for the development of nuclear energy in Europe,
  • the deployment of large-scale reactors and small modular reactors (SMRs) in the context of the energy transition,
  • strengthening national value chains and competencies,
  • innovations and start-ups shaping the future of the sector.

BNEF 2026 is a space where energy, technology, and international cooperation come together to jointly build a resilient, secure, and modern European energy system.

The experience gained from two previous editions of BNEF has shown that the greatest value of the conference lies in combining substantive expertise with the opportunity for direct exchange of experience. Therefore, the Forum offers not only inspiring debates, thematic sessions, workshops, and study visits, but also a strong focus on networking and relationship-building among participants.

In the third edition of the Forum, we continue the idea of creating diverse meeting formats and dialogue-oriented spaces, enabling even more effective connections between experts, investors, and decision-makers from Poland and abroad.

As in previous years, the Forum will once again welcome leading representatives of the nuclear industry from Poland and around the world, who will share their practical experience, inspiring case studies, and visions for the sector’s development in the years ahead.
