Join this inspiring pedagogy workshop

Hundreds of students have participated in the GRE@T-PIONEeR’s courses in nuclear technology.

The GRE@T-PIONEeR is a Horizon 2020 project coordinated by Chalmers University of Technology, running over the period 2020-2024. 18 university teachers from 8 different universities located in 6 different countries gathered forces to offer advanced courses in computational and experimental nuclear reactor physics and safety.

The characteristic of them is that the courses start with independent online studies, preparing students for teacher-led exercises held either in the classroom or continued remotely. The courses have reached widely across the globe, yielding excellent results. In the 2022/2023 academic year alone, this innovative format was completed by 185 students in 8 courses, achieving an impressive 87.7% success rate.

Now, the experiences are being summarized during a workshop in June, and all teachers interested in new educational methods are welcome to participate, to explore new approaches to teaching, receive great tips, and get help starting something similar yourself!

The workshop will be offered both on-site at Stenungsbaden, Sweden, and online and is aimed at those teaching at the master’s level and above, providing distance courses, or offering courses for industry or lifelong learning.
