This year, NENE 2024 – the 33rd international conference Nuclear Energy for New Europe, organized by the Nuclear Society of Slovenia (ENS Member Society) – will take place in Portorož, Slovenia, from 9 to 12 September.
The conference annually brings together professionals from nuclear research organizations, educational institutions, utilities, industry, and regulatory bodies to discuss the current challenges in fission and fusion energy research.
The primary objective of the meeting is to foster international cooperation amongst professionals active in nuclear research and educational institutions, nuclear vendors, utilities, and regulatory bodies.
The slogan of this year’s conference is “Nuclear Research: Securing a Predictable Future”.
