European Nuclear Societies in Stakeholder Engagement
Part 1: Interacting with Education System
Brussels, 9th September 2026 — The European Nuclear Society Focus Group on School and Public Engagement has published Part I of its Report titled “European Nuclear Societies in Stakeholder Engagement – Interacting with Education System”.
This report presents the first Europe-wide overview of educational initiatives organised by Nuclear Societies affiliated with the European Nuclear Society (ENS). Based on a survey conducted in 2026, it documents 29 project models implemented across the ENS network, targeting pupils, teachers and parents. Summer schools and structured courses represent the largest share of activities, followed by competitions and teacher-focused initiatives, while workshops, career events, educational tools and study visits complement the educational offer.
