Nuclear Power Plant Würgassen/Weser (Germany), boiling water reactor with fossil superheater with an electric gross output of 670 MW, nuclear commissioning on 20th October 1971. The plant was shut down after an operating period of 128,333 h and a cumulative output of about 73 TWh on 26th August 1994 and decommissioning preparations have commenced.

Nuclear decommissioning and dismantling of the entire plant were successfully completed in 2014. It makes Würgassen the first power reactor decommission project to be fully completed. The plant is currently being operated as an interim storage site.
