The Belgian Nuclear Society (BNS) and the Netherlands Nuclear Society (NNS) (both ENS Member Societies) are proud to co-organise this inaugural joint nuclear conference, bringing together nuclear professionals, policymakers, academics and industry leaders from Belgium and the Netherlands.

In the context of Europe’s ambitious climate targets and renewed political momentum for nuclear energy in Europe, and more particularly in Belgium and the Netherlands, which recently reaffirmed their ambition to strengthen cooperation and build an ambitious program for the redeployment of nuclear energy and associated applications, and to create a joint ecosystem and supply chain. This joint nuclear conference is anticipated to be held annually and hosted alternatively between the two countries. It provides a unique platform to align strategies, share expertise and accelerate the transition towards a secure and sustainable nuclear energy future by 2036.

The conference will feature high-level keynote speeches, technical presentations, panel discussions, TEDx-style talks by emerging talents, creating a dynamic platform for strategic dialogue, knowledge exchange and networking across the Belgian & Dutch nuclear communities.
