PWR Prague Conference is a biennial international forum organised by the Czech Nuclear Society (ENS Member Society).

The two-day conference will take place in the Grand Hotel International in Prague, from 20th to 21st October.

The International PWR Prague Conference builds upon the longstanding tradition of VVER Conferences held in Prague since 2000.
The topics covered by VVER conferences have long surpassed the scope of Russian-type reactors, and participation from countries operating pressurised water reactors of other designs is increasingly broad. NPPs with VVER-type reactors definitely belong to the broader family of pressurised water reactors, addressing similar questions in all areas of safe, reliable, long-term, and economically competitive operation.

The conference brings together experts from nuclear power plants with PWR reactors (VVER-type including), designers, representatives of regulatory bodies, fuel suppliers, equipment and components suppliers, maintenance and other services providers.

This edition’s key topics are:

  • Nuclear Fuel and Fuel Cycle
  • Safe Long-Term Operation
  • Efficient Maintenance Solutions for NPPs
  • New PWR Builds (large and small)

For all the authors, the abstract submission deadline is set for 20th July.
