Climate change is affecting every country on every continent. It is disrupting national economies and affecting lives. Weather patterns are changing, sea levels are rising, and weather events are becoming more extreme. We have seen a lot of record temperatures and wildfires across the world in 2022.

Our window to avoid climate catastrophe is closing rapidly. We are bringing you a series of speakers across the globe to talk about what’s happening to the climate in each of their continents and speak about what action should we take to combat climate change through a 3-part event series. Our first event is on the climate urgency and will talk about:

  • The science behind climate change
  • How are people being affected by climate change?
  • What happens if we don’t take action?
  • Can we solve this problem or is it too late to act?

  • Soheir Korraa, Founder and President of WiN Egypt and Acting President of WiN Africa
  • François-Marie Breon, Climatologist, LSCE

More speakers are to be confirmed. Stay tuned and follow the updates!
